Punch Neapolitan Pizza “Capture Our Fire” Photo Contest Has Ended...
...But The Fun Has Just Begun
Punch Neapolitan Pizza, the Twin Cities authentic Neapolitan pizza
restaurant, has concluded the Capture Our Fire Photo Contest. This contest encouraged anyone to
submit a photo of their favorite Punch pizza or Punch Pizza moment - whether artistic, silly or candid -
for the opportunity to win a grand prize and have the winning photographs showcased on the Punch Pizza blog,
new Web site and in the restaurants.
The inspiration for the contest stems from the exceptional photographs we have seen that were taken by
customers who post them on their blogs or photo sharing Web sites. We want to encourage customers and all to continue to showcase their artistic and creative side, and silly side for that matter.
We have a large inventory of photos that we have taken of our own pizzas and I will be first to admit that
it's very difficult to take a great shot and capture the right consistency of our pizzas. But, some of the best Punch pizza photos I have seen were actually taken by our customers during their visits.
We have been blown away by the number of contenstants and quality of their submissions, and now that the contest is over,
we've launched the Minnesota Punch Pizza Blog to talk about
the talented photographers who particpated, their amazing photographs, and we will be selecting the winners there, too. Please

Criteria & Categories
Photo entries will be judged on creativity, clarity, content, composition and appeal. Grand prize winners in
each category listed below will be awarded a $500 dining card to Punch Pizza. Runners-up in each category will
receive a $250 dining card to Punch Pizza. Categories include:
- Ovens of Punch - Photographs of Punch ovens and fires in Punch ovens. (Photos must be taken from behind
the food preparation area.)
- Punch Pizzas - Photographs of Punch pizzas. (Photos entered in this category must only showcase pizzas
from Punch.)
- Punch Moments - Photographs of people eating at Punch restaurants, gatherings, candid photos, etc.
- Camera Phone Photos - Photographs taken from a camera phone.
Punch Neapolitan Pizza “Capture Our Fire” Photo Contest Rules
- No purchase necessary to enter or to win.
- The Punch Pizza Capture Our Fire Photo Contest begins immediately and ends on
February 15 March 1, 2008.
- Winners will be announced some time after February 22, 2008
March 1 on the Punch Pizza blog (Blog address to be announced) and at
this Web site.
- Winners must collect their prize at the Northeast Minneapolis Punch Neapolitan Pizza.
- All entries must be submitted online at Flickr.com.
- Entrants should upload contest submissions to their Flickr account (which are free) and
apply a tag of “PunchPizzaContest” to each submission as well as the category for which the submitted photo applies: "OvensOfPunch" or "PunchPizzas" or "PunchMoments" or "PunchPhonePhotos"
- Entries will be evaluated based on creativity, clarity, content, composition and appeal. The decision of the judges is final.
- Punch Pizza reserves the right to use and/or reproduced all entries for commercial purposes under the
Creative Commons Attribution License.
- Electronic pictures must be submitted in high resolution (at least 300 dpi) format,
except for camera phone photos.
- Entries must be submitted in the Flickr account name of the person who took the photograph.
- Entries are limited to two per person per category.
- Punch Pizza employees reserve the right to restrict photography during peak business hours.
- The contest is open to all Punch customers and photographers, professional or amateur.
- Punch Pizza employees and family members are not eligible to enter the contest.
